Quick troubleshooting

Flashlight unavailable

Close other apps that may be using the camera or flashlight, then try again. Some devices do not provide a controllable built-in flash.

Screen is not bright enough

Increase your phone's screen brightness. Battery-saving settings or automatic brightness may reduce the light level.

Device compatibility

Safe Night Cycling depends on the lighting hardware available on your Android phone. If one light does not work, the device may not support that hardware or may restrict access to it.
